Dita Jonikova Inspire Yoga and Wellbing Dee Why Northen BeachesDita Janikova began her own yoga journey by practising classic Hatha yoga over 11 years ago in her home country of Czech Republic.  After moving to Australia in 2007, Dita began learning and practising Bikram Yoga at Brookvale’s Yoga Indian College, before training to become a yoga teacher at Qi Yoga and Pilates in Sydney in 2015.

For the past year Dita has begun to specialise in yoga therapy and continues her teacher training journey at Adore Yoga Sydney.
Loving where her own journey of personal strength and growth has taken her, Dita is passionate about enabling others to build their own confidence, mental and physical heath through yoga.  Her absolute focus being on offering yoga classes that are fun but filled with love, respect, understanding and kindness.

Dita is a registered and insured Yoga Australia Level 1 Yoga Teacher.

Outside of her yoga world she loves swimming, dancing, Zumba and spending time with her friends.  You can mostly find her enjoying the rain on her balcony with a cup of coffee, hanging out with her partner, gardening and generally living life to the full.

Kristin is a true and passionate lover of all things health and wellbeing.

She initially started practicing yoga to stretch out her muscles after a workout, but it fast became so much more. Yoga has been transformational for Kristin and now even just one day without yoga is a day too long.

By getting out of your head and into your body, things always look a whole lot better after a yoga practice.

Yoga can be intimidating for some, with fears of inflexibility being a problem. But yoga is so much more than simply what the physical body is doing and/or if you can touch your toes. You learn a lot about yourself on the mat – it’s a great chance to really dive in.

Kristin endeavors to take a gentle and supportive approach to ensure everyone gets the most out of the class with the primary goal of a calm enjoyment for all!

Looking forward to flowing with you soon!

Lisa Croker Inspire Yoga and Wellbeing Dee Why Northern BeachedLisa Croker first encountered yoga aged 18 at the Sivananda Ashram, Kerala. Several years later I found myself in India again, where I practiced yoga with many traditional teachers. This experience reinforced my dreams of becoming a teacher and in 2014, I completed a 200hr Power Vinyasa TTC.

My two passions in life are Humanitarian Aid and Yoga, I hope to combine the two one day.
I want to share my love for the practice by delivering powerful and balanced classes. To me YOGA is a harmonious practice, bringing people together, accessing and creating a place of peace, nurturing the heart and mind with self-compassion and positive regard for all.

Punam started practicing Yoga and Pilates to bring calm and balance to her life whilst working in a busy and stressful corporate career and to compliment her fitness regime. She has practiced Pilates since 2009 and Yoga since 2002 in various styles of Pilates and yoga.

Yoga and Pilates soon became a passion and from that point, I was inspired to train first as a yoga teacher and then as a Pilates teacher having experienced the benefits myself.  I trained as Pilates teacher with Polestar Australia and as a hatha yoga teacher with the Karuna Yoga School in the UK.  Both organisations have a strong focus on alignment and student safety.

Various aspects of Yoga and Pilates have helped Punam to achieve a calmer, more grounded and healthier approach to life and the daily challenges it brings.

Punam’s focus as a teacher is on alignment and providing clear guidance to students to enable them to practice safely in a supported environment.  She provides guidance to students as to appropriate modifications in a pose or exercise so that all students are able to experience the benefits of a pose or exercise.

Terra Nova Yoga Teacher Inspire Yoga and Wellbeing Dee Why Northern BeachesTerra-Nova discovered yoga while completing her degree in Environmental Studies at Alaska Pacific University in 2011. She completed her yoga teacher training in 2013, in the much warmer, tropical beaches of Miami, Florida. Since then she has slowly been making her way south in the world,  developing a passion for traveling and surfing which has lead her to Sydney’s Northern beaches.

Terra-Nova’s teaching style is one that takes its inspiration from Earth’s natural systems. You may find yourself meditating on the nature of ocean waves in class, or powering through a fiery sequence of poses as you practice your personal conservation of energy. Like Earth’s delicately balanced ecosystems, the body and mind are equally challenged in a series of stretching and strengthening movements during each class, with deference to each individual constitution.

The aim in every class is nothing more than to activate every part of your body and mind that is capable of appreciating all that life has to offer. Come and connect. Discover how amazing you are meant to feel!
